The Moshe Privacy Statement describes how we manage Personal Information and maintain our commitment to your privacy. Overview
Moshe is a simple and convenient event planning and expense reimbursement tool. To use the Moshe app, limited Personal Information is requested including name, email address, and phone number. Event organizers create events and invite friends and family to participate in the events. Events created by organizers can only be viewed by the invited participants who have elected to join the event. Event information is only shared amongst event participants. PayPal is the underlying payment processing platform used for the transfer of funds between the event organizer and event participants. A valid, functioning PayPal account is required by all event participants for the proper functioning of the Moshe app. PayPal operates separate from Moshe and Moshe does not collect or store any data related to the functioning of PayPal. We may also collect information about the types of events and the underlying expenses, or the groups you create. We may use this information to help improve and secure our service and to show ads based on your usage of our services.
Applicability of Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement applies to all Moshe websites, mobile applications, and/or online services (collectively Moshe or Moshe app), that link to or reference this Privacy Statement. It covers your Personal Information that is provided or collected using the Moshe app and how we use that information in connection with the Moshe app. Moshe will be updating our services so we may occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect those changes to the Moshe app, or applicable laws. If the revised version requires notice in accordance with applicable law, we will provide you with 30 days prior notice by posting notice of the change on the "Privacy Statement" page of our website and mobile apps, otherwise the revised Privacy Statement will be effective as of the published effective date. Throughout this Privacy Statement, we use the term "personal information" to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been aggregated and/or anonymized so that it does not identify a specific person.
Please read this Privacy Statement carefully to understand Moshe’s policies and practices regarding your information and how Moshe will treat it. If you do not agree with Moshe’s policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Moshe app. By accessing or using the Moshe app, you agree to this Privacy Statement. This Privacy Statement may change from time to time (see the Changes to Moshe’s Privacy Statement section below). Your continued use of the Moshe app after Moshe makes changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the Privacy Statement periodically for updates.
